It is the goal of Environmental Institute of Illinois, Inc. to make indoor air quality so affordable that the average homeowner can get their home tested by professionals before there is a problem.

We believe that affordable testing will create frequent testing. Frequent testing can improve the quality of life for your family.

We believe that by determining what people are breathing we are developing the best methods of limiting the amount of harmful indoor air pollutants that are being inhaled.

Level 1- Visual Walk Through and testing

The LEVEL 1 assessment consists of 2 air “tests” which is our standard procedure for a non evasive or visual inspection. Included at this level are an indoor air assessment test and an outdoor air assessment test. Together the lab results will form the basis to judge if a home environment indicates a need for further investigation.

LEVEL 2- Environmental air, building assessment and testing

When mold is visually present a LEVEL 2 inspection will be recommended. This inspection will include a complete visual assessment of the home including crawlspace, basement or attic in search of the source that is causing the mold to flourish. Typically this is a result of previous water damage that has not yet been repaired. LEVEL 2 inspection will include tests and results. Tests will be determined by inspector and/or problem.

Includes “Mold Source Report” that will recommend “Actions to Take” to remediate the mold contaminants.

The Environmental Institute offers 3 different water test packages that will identify what is in your water.

Option A (tests for Total Coliform and E Coli bacteria, Nitrate, Nitrite, Total Nitrate/Nitrite, Iron, and Turbidity)

*Option B (tests for Total Coliform and E Coli bacteria, Lead, Nitrate, Nitrite, Total Nitrate/Nitrite, PH, Iron, and Turbidity)

*Please note that Option B is a FHA and VA Loan requirement.

Option C (tests for Alkalinity, Total Coliform and E Coli Bacteria, Nitrate, Nitrite, Clarity, Chlorine, Color, Copper, Hardness, Iron, Lead, Total Nitrate/Nitrite, PH)
